Welcome to Stars of America

This is a series of paintings of immigrants, for immigrants. I created this space as a small refuge from the hateful rhetoric and fear-driven narratives that so often surround the lives of people who, by choice or by circumstance, now call this country home.

Stars of America is my homage, to immigrants everywhere, and to America itself: to what it was meant to be, a nation of immigrants, and what it still has the potential to become, a place where everyone belongs, where every person is welcomed, respected, and given the chance to live a life of dignity and freedom.
